Sandra V. Saiegh, Esquire

Sandra V. Saiegh has over 30 years of legal experience handling complex legal matters with ease, precision and personal dedication to her clients. Sandra provides legal services in the areas of real property, business law, government contracts end estate planning. In her free time she volunteers with the Oysterponds Historical Society and is a member of the Greenport Rotary. Sandra is bilingual English/Spanish.

Sandra is originally from Argentina where she was in private practice as the managing partner in a boutique law firm for 10 years handling business transactions, commercial and residential real estate negotiations and as a litigator in civil, commercial, administrative and highest court proceedings.  She also worked as an in-house attorney for IBM Argentina prior to moving to the US to take a position with the United Nations. In her several roles with the United Nations, Sandra worked in the legal, human resources, procurement and logistics areas.  For more than 10 years she lead a team that successfully negotiated and managed a portfolio of complex turnkey commercial international contracts with a multi year value over 1 billion dollars for the provision of goods and services to the United Nations Headquarters in NY as well as its peacekeeping operations around the world.  

Upon leaving her position at the United Nations, Sandra has relocated full time to the North Fork of Long Island and has reignited her love for private law practice and opened her office in Southold, NY.  In her East End Practice Sandra concentrates on Real Estate Transactions, Estate Planning, Business Transactions and Government Contracts.  

 Her experience working remotely and negotiating contracts in challenging environments, with multiple parties and delicate government negotiations, paired with her love for the North Fork, its community and heritage, has allowed her to smoothly transition back into private practice. Sandra brings to the table her passion for helping others, a knack for solving problems, empathy and the capacity to plan ahead and overcome any obstacle that may present itself.  

Sandra has been spending time in the North Fork for the past 10 years and combines her local knowledge with an international background. You can always find her volunteering at a local event. A Trustee and docent of the Oysterponds Historical Association, she has run successful fundraisers, co-chair an educational project for Slow Food East End together with the Oysterponds School, and volunteered for the Foodie Tour or the local Rotary.  

 Sandra Saiegh has a law degree from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, an LL. M from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas and a Masters in Organizational Development and Change Management from MIlano the New School for Management and Public Policy. She was admitted practice as an attorney in the State of New York in 1995 and is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Suffolk County Bar Association, an Affiliate of the Long Island Association of Realtors and a Member of the North Fork Chamber of Commerce.
